Why Chill6™ is coming back, better

Chill6™ was born from Dan Marold’s personal fight with severe anxiety and long-term dependence on prescription medication. That experience, and the search for safe, practical support, sparked his early formulation work using amino acids. His journey through panic, withdrawal attempts, and relentless research is the heart behind this product’s return.

In 2022, regulators flagged issues with the original Chill6™, specifically the inclusion of phenibut HCl and disease-treatment claims. Those concerns were real and important. The new Chill6™ is being rebuilt from the ground up to meet the letter and spirit of U.S. law and to earn trust through openness and evidence.

What’s changing (and why it matters)

No phenibut, ever

The prior inclusion of phenibut HCl won’t return. FDA has stated phenibut is not a lawful dietary ingredient and is not GRAS (generally recognized as safe) for use in food; products containing it are considered adulterated. The reformulation removes phenibut entirely.

Only lawful, safety-first ingredients

Chill6™ will be formulated exclusively with dietary ingredients and/or GRAS components at responsible, evidence-informed amounts, and produced in U.S. GMP-certified facilities.

Medical oversight & external review

A clinical advisory process (MD/PharmD/RD) will review the formula, label language, and consumer guidance before production. We’ll also implement third-party pre-market safety checks for allergens, heavy metals, microbials, and label accuracy (COA posted per batch).

Transparent product information

Every label and webpage will list: full ingredient panel, exact amounts per serving, suggested use, known contraindications, and plain-English cautions (e.g., medication interactions, pregnancy/breastfeeding, age limits). Prior Chill6™ materials emphasized safety, GMP manufacturing, and amino-acid profiles; we’re doubling down on that clarity and documentation.

FAQ

Is the new Chill6™ “FDA approved”?

No dietary supplement is “FDA approved.” We will comply with FDA dietary-supplement regulations, use lawful ingredients, and manufacture under cGMPs with posted COAs.

Why remove phenibut?

Because FDA has stated phenibut is not a lawful dietary ingredient/GRAS for use in food or supplements in the U.S. We removed it permanently.

Will you share exact amounts?

Yes. Full per-serving amounts and third-party test results will be on the label and the product page at launch.

Who should not use Chill6™?

Individuals under 18, pregnant or nursing individuals, anyone on prescription medications (especially those affecting mood, sleep, or blood pressure), and those with medical conditions should consult their healthcare professional before use.
